Teams Platform

LIFE VERMEER is an EC funded project within the LIFE programme for the substitution of risky substances.

VERMEER developed software which integrates hazard evaluation with exposure assessment for human and environment.

The VERMEER workshop will provide an overview of the outcomes of the project, showing the tools developed and explaining the socio-economic benefits. The developed tools are focused on the real case application, providing innovative solutions for specific industrial sectors and offering a detailed investigation of six case studies, chosen for their growing concern for the human health and the environment.

A consolidated interaction with stakeholders has allowed to increase the knowledge on the safety of chemicals, making the improvements of the tools possible.

A monitoring of the health and environmental results, as well as an assessment of the socio-economic impact, was carried out and it will be presented during the workshop. Moreover, we offer the participants the opportunity to assist to a hands-on training session during the second day, showing a practical demonstration of the tools, with examples on real risk scenarios.

Admission is free of charge

The participation is limited to a maximum number of 250 participants.
